I run a fairly conservative Noiseware run on it, do an auto-level/contrast step, then a USM for a small amount of micro-contrast, then USM for a bit of sharpening. I just pop this into an action, then after a game, I dump all JPG to a folder, run this in bulk on all, and I only then have to edit them one at a time for composition. Much faster with the 7D2 and 5D4 than with any other body I have used in the past, now that I can use the JPG out of camera!

TeamSpeed,
Combining both objective and subjective results, in your opinion how many stops of ISO improvement is the 5d4 over the 7d2? I noticed your shots were at 1/2000 which I don't think I have every seen for basketball before. :-) Since I know even 1/1000 is usually decent for basketball, this implies you werent worried about the noise at 12800.

I shoot at 1/2000 to fully stop the action, that is what is needed to stop sweat flying through the air. The 5d4 is about 1 stop, maybe a bit more, over the 7d. I shoot the 7d2 at the same shutter speed though.

I have shot sports over the years starting at 1/1000, but many shots are soft due to movement. Each year I have increased it, and have settled on 2000th.

Here is one of my 7D2 shots, also at 1/2000, ISO 10K.

Headed to shoot my first concert with the 5d4. Should be a decent test as it will start during day and end during night. I will shoot primarily with the 70-200 ii but will alternate the Tammy 24-70 and 35 art as well.

Here's a couple from tonight's concert. 5D4 and 70-200 ii, iso 3200 on both, shutter speed around 1/250. I will edit more tomorrow.

I'm sure this is a simple fix but I'm having trouble finding the answer. When shooting with my 6D I can post the photo to Facebook directly after export from LR. With the 5D4 the file is SO much bigger it will not post. Bigger as in 25-50 MB. I'm assuming I need to resize in PS (2460X2460 or so) to get the best quality on Facebook?

You should be able to resize on export. If the FB plugin doesn't offer that option check out the mogrify plugin. Or one of Jeffrey Friedl's plugins.

Instead of a picture taken with a 5D4, how about a picture of a 5D4
Note: do NOT fall for the Best Buy accidental protection plan, it's a scam! Not at all what I was told when I bought it ....
