It's very minor but I find it awkward getting the Bowens mount adapter onto a AD200 (there's a little ridge on either end that makes it a tight fit), tempted to buy the AD-B2 just to avoid that.

The new brackets don't need this mod. I bought mine about 4-5 months back.

Looks like good advice, but simple me just removed the rubber pad at the bottom, and it worked for me.

It takes a scissors and 20 sec to trim a bit of rubber from the padding to allow easy insertion of the AD200.

That works, but I think people at least put some gaffers tape on the flash or the bracket itself to prevent damage.

Just tested the Xpro-N trigger and the eVOLV again, after updating the firmware to 1.3 - it looks like the 1/320th issue I'd seen last week is an issue specific to that shutter speed, at least on the D810. In HSS mode, 1/320th shows a narrow band at the bottom of the frame's edge, but it disappears at any shutter speed above 1/320th. Moral for me is to just shoot at 1/500th and above in HSS.

Pleasantly surprised at how quickly the eVOLV recycles at even 1:1 in HSS. Looking forward to giving it another go in the dual bracket soon.

I received my new kit tonight. Wow, am I ever glad I switched up to the pro transmitter. This thing is sweet compared to the first version. Can't wait to play with it.

On the topic of protecting equipment, could someone point me to the POTN hive conclusion as to the best plastic cover for the AD-B2 dual-bulb head?

I'm being a bit lazy, since I know it's been discussed, but my brief search was a bust...

Thanks.

Owen.
