Anyone up to trying to capture some meteor images ? Tonight is the Giminids and they're say projections up to 120/hr . Now I know there has not been a good one especially for northern hemisphere but tonight sounds like it could be a good one . Starts at sunset so get an early start and if you get any post them here if possible ! I might even give it a try myself if I see any shooting across the sky . Look forward to seeing some new fresh images !!

I'm sure it'll be great, since we're going to be clouded out, here. Sigh...

I don't do a lot of astro or night sky stuff but I am going to give it a go. Cloudy here now so at the moment I am not optomistic.

Did a test last night with my new 6D II (really need a wide angle) and my Oly E-m1 using Live Comp.

I'm heading out tonight to try and capture them. I will post if I get any good ones. Either way looking forward to clear skies in my area and no moon until about 3:30 AM.

Just got back from Big Cypress National Preserve. What a killer light show!

Haven’t looked at my shots yet, but am expecting at least a few to have more than one meteor streaking through the frame.

Best meteor shower I've ever witnessed....or captured. Caught thre in one frame and two in another. Space.com even featured one on their site. What a night it was. https://www.space.com …7-thrills-stargazers.html (external link)
