Not wrapper, as that's (it says on the internet) part of the cigar, but a metal tubular cigar container.

I wasn't sure if I won or not. I Google translated the part of your answer that was not in English and Google said it was Not a pipe. But your next sentence said it was.

It was a reference to this. In fact, that's why I chose the pipe ... also because it was within arm's reach*. Your question as to whether it would be considered a pipe was deemed correct because people would indeed generally consider it to be a pipe. It is not a pipe, but it is a picture of one.

*I've never smoked even once in my life, and cigarettes and cigars are deeply unappealing to me, but I suppose you could call me pipe-curious.

@Owain - It's traditional to post a picture revealing enough of the subject to make the crop reconisable. Woud appreciate that it if it's possible.
@Nogo - well done. I wouldn't have guessed that.

I shall adhere to tradition. Here is said item in its usual location alongside other sentimental items, all gifts. I just realised you can't see the bowl of the pipe, but the picture I originally used shows my fingerprints and ... I decided that I didn't wish to post those on the internet.
