I tried to take a photo of this guy but he lept from the branch I put him on to the floor so I took photos where he landed, on the rug under my computer chair. It did give a little more colour than usual.

Sounds like a good name but who is Jerry Garcia ? LordV wrote in post #18519022 Lovely series- looks like the spider is wondering what on earth it landed on ![]() Brian V. I normally try for a natural setting but he seemed happy on the mat and as you would know if they stop moving then you can take photos wherever that may be Lester Wareham wrote in post #18519808 Lovely spider captures. Not a pet, he was found by my wife in the garden and taken inside for a photoshoot but decided that he didn't like the setup I had on my desk and leapt onto the mat under my chair. I left him there and did the photos on the floor. He is now back in the garden with all his friends. 5D III | 70-200L 4IS | 24-105L | MP-E65 | Sigma 105mm Macro | Sigma 120-300 2.8 sport

racketman Cream of the Crop More info | I see now you are in Aussie, it looked too exotic for anything I’d be likely to find. Toby

We have been blessed with some extraordinary little creatures, the unfortunate thing is the size of our country and may require large amounts of travel to find some of them 5D III | 70-200L 4IS | 24-105L | MP-E65 | Sigma 105mm Macro | Sigma 120-300 2.8 sport
