This beautiful little Goldcrest decided to come out of the tree and flew down to the puddle to take a drink, luckily he stayed still for a second giving me enough time to capture him.

Your right Lester, always on the move. I see them often at my local wood and what they tend to do is fly down to a small puddle look around for 1-second then bath for 10 seconds and then off they go. It is that 1-second moment which is the opportunity to get them.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Another morning with my hawk. I think he's warming up to me

Usual ID conundrum: Coopers Hawk, or Red Shouldered? I've ruled out Sharp Shinned, as it's a little larger than a Sharpie.
