I have just changed my mind several times but finally came to a decision:lol:
1ST OH LOOK
I went back over and over and realised there were several different converging /joining in one photo, including the ants who i assume are feeding off the snails, the Snails touching and the markings on the shells :)
2nd Stiga It was a classic way i was visualising things when i first thought of the challenge

3rd M Six with The Trib Looks like London with so many angles.

As i said i changed my mind so many times.TeeKay with the timeless SR71 ,Jims with the railyard ,we used to have huge yard s like this ,sadly closed now and the delicate beak of the Curlew digging for it's food.
Well done all and Thank You .
Take it away Oh Look but
DON'T FORGET NEXT MONDAY WILL BE CHRISTMAS DAY IF THE COMPETITION WILL BE TAKING PLACE :)

Thanks for the 3rd place nod, Trumper. That's the Chicago Tribune building (in the foreground). Known locally as The Trib.

Kudos to OhLook and Stiga.

Congratulations to Stiga and M_Six. So the wheel stopped with the pointer on my X-rated snails. Thank you, Trumper. Anyone who wondered how snails mate, the answer is "Very slowly, of course." I suspect the ants came to eat the slime that the snails secreted, or at least its scent attracted them.

I'll put up the next challenge in a couple of hours.

Congratulations to OhLook, Martin, and M_Six...great photos all :-)

Thanks for the great challenge Trumper...you did have a tough time with this set of outstanding entries.

My railyard shot was taken in Chicago while we were visiting our daughter and family. It is one huge operation. I made this shot from the window of the car as we passed by...thank goodness for 20 megapixels as I really cropped this one down to isolate just the railyard.

Congratulations to OhLook & the runners up! Great subject & fun entries from everyone. I am sick with a nasty cold but still functioning. Hoping it is gone by the weekend.
