Hello all forum members, I'm new to this site. just found out about this foruma after research.
Glad I found this website cause it has tons of info.
I need some help with my new gear setup. Firstly I switched from canon to sony.

My gear setup is:
SOny a6000
Godox ad360 flash
Godox X1t- s transmitter for sony
Also 1 receicer ( its from lencarta ) looks just like the godox xtr 16 but its from another brand. Lencarta from the UK. I had it with my lencarta strobe light. thought to try it with the godox. looks the same as the godox xtr 16.

I'm having troubles in setting this up for HSS.HSS activated on the godox ad360 flash. When I choose the group and channel on the transmitter and setup the same group and channel on the receiver nothing is happening. I cannot change the shutter speed above 160. (max for sony of course without HSS)
But when I put the flash directly on the Hotshoe, it fires but I get the zebra thing on the image, but when stopped down the shutter speed i see the full image without the zebra.
I don't understand what to do now. Is it possible that the lencarta receiver just wont work with the x1t transmitter.
Strange ting is that when I dont put the transmitter on the Hotshoe I cannot bring the shutter speed higher than 160th. when the transmitter is on the camera it is possible to bring it to the max of 1/4000.
But still the godox wont fire. Could it be possible that the lencarta receiver isn't recognized by the x1t. or am I doing something wrong.
also another thing s that strange enough the power of the godox 360 isn't going higher than 1/8th..normally it should be possible to go till 1/128th.
Can anyone help me with some more info what I can do. I couldn't find any info abouth this through google and youtube. Maybe somebody on this forum can help me.
Btw, site has lots of info so I start reading all the info.

Thanks members. Hope to have a solution.

Gr roberto

If you press the test button on the trigger and the 360 is flashing then the receiver works and the lowest value of 1/8th is normal for the 360 in HSS mode.

If I press the test button its still not working so I think that the receiver is not good for the x1t. I'v ordered another xt16 from godox that supposed to work. Hopefully that will help me. Thanks mmmfotografie for youre answer

Just a wild guess, did you manually turn on the HSS on the 360?

Is that receiver a 2.4ghz receiver since you are using the XT1? Also as stated, you will have to manually put the strobe in HSS.

I did put the strobe on HSS. with the Mode and Set dial together its activating the HSS mode. I had the receiver from my previous buy from lencarta...but I know now thats its not the 2.4ghz. I already ordered the xtr16 from godox.

when I put the ad360 directly on the camera's hotshoe, HSS works but I get the weird banding issue...( zebra thing) I attached some image ex. When I choose a higher shutter speed, the black lines are seen, as far as I put the shutterspeed down, the banding disappears at I think 1/400 something. Real strange. So off camera the problem will be solved with the xtr 16 receiver but I'm still struggling with the imag part with shutterspeed.

That is because you don't get a correct pre-sync and if you put the 360 at full power and no HSS enabled you get no banding.
When you have the a good received you will get a good pre-sync for HSS.

mmmfotografie, just received the xtr16 and problem is solved, now I can control the ad360 with de x1t. can raise also the shutterspeed, higher than 1/160.But now got another problem, so when I raise the SS to let say 1/2500, I get a white band at the top of the image. Could it be possible that it has to do something with the option of flash, found out that it supposed to be at WL flash selected in the menu of the sony a6000, but I see also rear, fill flash. in rear i still get the white band, on WL nothing is happening, and fill, still the white band. when I shutt off the curtain option, the ad360 is not firing. whats up with that?

I don't know were "WL" is standing for. The 360 has a fixed HSS (blinking light) and the X1 is giving the pre-sync. In the X1 you can also manual set an offset of the pre-sync to be later or earlier but the problem is when you set it correct for 1/2500 it could be off again at 1/500.

WL...stands for Wireless, than there are other options like Fill flash, rear, and no flash. Some people on youtube and google says it has to be in WL mode and other says fill flash. Tried on fill flash and it works.

Yes I use it with camera in fill flash mode too with both my 2 TT685 and my AD360 controlled by X1T-S. As I recall it the wireless mode is used with Sony flashes and won't work with Godox.
Edit nope, wireless does not work with X1T-S and AD360 and TT685
Edit Edit. And not with TT685 as master either. Hmm in radio mode at least.
This thread looks like something ive seen before somewhere else :)

The TT685 is a great flash but I wish I got the V860II instead. Id really like the Li-Ion battery instead of the AA's in my 2 small flashes.
