I didn’t see a thread for photographs of Omaha Nebraska and the immediate surrounding areas so I started this one. I have yet to be able to post any shots because I’ve not landed in Omaha yet. Being transferred there soon and will post then. I’ve posted often in the Kansas City thread and have a nice Flickr account that I will soon be adding to with Omaha shots. Please feel free to post away.

99% of what I've posted here, and on my site, was shot in Omaha.

Excellent. Great site too! Looks great. I've seen and participated in posting photos to various location specific threads so I just thought I'd start one for Omaha. Keep up the great work.

Always wanted to shoot the barn. Just never made it. :-)

Found this Angel of Death, this Puff the Magic Dragon, this Rain of Death and Terror flying over Papillion yesterday doing maneuvers from Offutt. It's an AC130 Hercules Gunship. The deadliest most feared aircraft in American history or use.

Thanks Mike. Funny thing is, I knew the plane wasn't a normal plane from the local airbase so I thought I snap a few pictures. I really thought it was just some huge cargo plane. Then I posted these same photos on a Nebraska Photography Facebook page and my likes just blew up. I have over 600 likes. Just goes to show how many military families live here. Anyways, not sure if you know or saw some comments but come to find out this is the deadliest, most feared military plane America has. Little did I know.
