I have a couple of glass Martini "toothpicks" and I've been trying to come up with an interesting way to display them. They are used to place olives in the Martini. Here's one idea that highlights the glass 'olive' on the top.

Since this was a 20 second exposure, I used my Nissin i60A flash with a mini softbox attached and made three flashes handheld during the exposure to add some highlights.

This reminds me of one of those photos that back in the day (the '70's, I think) that supposedly had subliminal messaging embedded in it. There were books written, it was a big deal for 5 minutes.

Nice image !

Not exactly a cocktail but I thought a little brandy would be nice on this rainy day in Southern California.

Do you use blackcards on the left and right? I have never tried them but have been thinking about it.

Here are a few cocktail images for a couple new places in the Palms here in Vegas

I have a couple of black 'cards' I've made up by using foamcore but didn't use them in this case. Here's a BTS shot showing the two strip boxes, the two diffusers (one used as a reflector), background, etc.

Or possibly the black edges around both diffusers? Either way, I like how the black separates the glass from the background. Now if I can get those edges white when using a black background... :-)

Sometimes when I dont get a full white line on each side, I clone the white all the way down. :-)
