I know next to nothing about motorcycles - that looks like a fine piece of machinery to me though! nicely shot Renata... :-)

That's a great series of shots, Renata. Love the bike shots, including the detail shots. I just love the light touch and the clarity in the images. Great IQ.
And I wouldn't mind that Lebanese lunch. It looks delicious. And I LOVE Dolma! My Turkish neighbour makes it too, all made with fresh grape leaves and she always brings me a plate full of it as she knows I love it so much. :-P

Joeseph, that makes two of us :) It surely seems like a nice piece of machinery.
Thank you!

Oh, the Lebanese lunch was divine; I could live on that food and I cook it often myself :)

Is it just me, or did we lose the grey background here on POTN?

It does look a little lighter. I noticed that too.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

I have been super busy but managed to drag Nifty into my kitchen and also outside just to catch that gorgeous sunset.
Cinnamon stars, traditional German Christmas cookies I baked yesterday.
Sunset right outside my house, 9 image panorama.

Happy Holidays again to all of you!
Nifty was cooking again...I'm tough on that lens and there was no other option for it :p
We started with some prime filet mignon lightly oiled, salted and peppered and we seared it for just 1 minute on each side in a cast iron skillet then transferred into an oven and baked at 400F /200C for about 7 minutes to get a perfect medium rare steaks topped with butter and a little bit of freshly grated horse radish on one side while the other side was served with home made sauce Bernaise :)
OK, no styling at all since I had no time for it.

Here is the sauce in the making and the finished thing.
Whipping egg yolk in a double boiler with a reduction of tarragon vinegar, shallots, ghee, salt and pepper...yum!

Here is the plated filet with some roasted vegetables accompanied by a killer red wine Louis Jadot Baune Premier Cru 2010!
The veggies before they were raosted.

OK, I'm sick, like really sick, so no shooting for me for a while but I managed to cook a lovely veal and chicken terrine with marinated green peppercorns and apricots...delicious.
Happy New Year Y'All :)
