That thing looks like fun!!
Always wanted one as a kid.. father was not having it tho

It was made by one of my father's friends who was a machinist. It's mostly scrap metal with some bearings for the axles.

Just how many fingers on your left hand these days?

As a young teenager, I never noticed that danger. Maybe I'll add some guards when I get it ready for the grandkids.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

Yep... it wouldn't have bothered me any as a kid either. What does it matter, anyway? Hands are going to be on the wheel ... or protecting my face if I roll it.

It's funny how Health & Safety has caught up with us.

Yes part of my job was H&S and I lived through the transitional years. That engine would have been loud. Bet there were no ear goggles around :-)

Yeah Wow, and I'd love to point you to a xxx vs. 5D4 thread where some xxx joker thinks the 5D4 can't keep up! ... meanwhile his illustrative shots of Eagles don't come close to yours! ;)

Wow. That sure reminds me of the Canadian boreal forrest. Throw a few pine trees in there and you wouldn't know the difference.
