Personally I like the top one!

Both are excellent however the first has the slight edge. The reflection of the lights in the 2nd draws the eye away from the bridge

Happy New Year everyone. I just ordered the Sonnar 35mm 2.8 from Greentoe. Got a pretty good price. Not the most reputable retailer but Greentoe supposedly backs the purchase. I’m having a bit of trouble as I paid the invoice on PayPal but it is still not showing as paid on Greentoe. Hopefully I’m done with GAS. I also ordered the V3 Peak Design Capture as well as the Peak Design backpack 30L. And thanks to this thread specifically I ordered the Arsenal for Feb delivery. This thread has cost me a good 10k this year... Don’t tell my wife.

I had the 30L PDBP and sold it, bought 20L instead. One for me and one for the she-boss.
In the 20L I put-
a9 + 1.4TC + 100-400GM (one one side)
a7Rii + 24-105 (on the other side)
12-24 (same side as the a7rii + 24-105
In the top of the 20L I can put 2-3 more lenses if I wish such as
28/F2, 55/1.8, 35/2.8 (note these are smaller lenses and I did order an extra PD thingamajobbie panel insert)
Of in the future a Laowa 15/2 + FE 50 Macro
Or I could put in 35/2.8 and FE90Macro.

The 30L was just too big for me. I could put everything from a Pelican into it and it became way too heavy for me.
Just saying, the 20L can carry quite a bit of kit and still be manageable.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the 15” messenger and it feels a little tight. I initially bought the 13” messenger but I exchanged it. So this time I erred the other way. Hope I didnt go too far. I would like to carry:

A7Rii with up to my B25 mounted
5D4 with up to 85L or 24-70
2 more lenses?
Mavic Pro with controller and batteries

I have a bag addiction. Earlier today I ordered the Field Pouch. I have the 5, 6 and 7 Million Dollar crumplers. I have a big heavy lowro backpack that sucks. And I have a Timbuk2 messenger. Is there a support group for GAS?

I don't think you went too far with your Mavic, 30L should be fine carrying that Drone and all the other kit you mention.
If I don't put the extra lens up on top I can almost put a Spark in my 20L

My new year's res is Laowa 15/2 and despite Ken Rockwells crap review of the FE50mm Macro to add it
to the kit.
