I'm still learning my way around the Fuji system. I bought mine primarily as a smaller travel kit for landscape photography (which I haven't really done yet) but also to have something light and easy to shoot the kids with. These are using the face detection AF. It seems to work pretty good as long as the subject is facing the camera full on.

I have to say, I love using it in situations like this... much easier to deal with than a full frame DSLR rig.
