Hi everyone,
I have not posted for a while, so time to get back into the groove. Here are two pics from Kannarraville Creek in Utah. Once a secret, now overrun by tourists. I was so lucky to get the 2nd shot without people in it. I literally arrived at the waterfalls, another photographer just folded his tripod and I got off this one shot, before more people climbed the stairs. The photographer before me had waited more than 1 hour to get his shot. Even though it was a hot summer day, the water in the creek is freezing cold.....

thats awesome that you got to shoot so fast. Great pics.

I had a buddy go to similar locations around the canyon... and he said the same thing, basically what you see in the pictures is awesome, but in reality its littered with tourists and photographers climbing on top of each other because there are so many people. I couldn't do that... I borderline hate people, and very much enjoy the solidarity of shooting landscapes with no one else around. :)

Thanks.
I agree with you. Shooting landscapes in solitude is much more rewarding.
The pictures were actually just a bonus. My 6 year old daughter had a blast hiking through the creek and we had lots of fun that day.
