I'm at work.
Sitting on my desk like 10 inches a way is a bag with 5 medium carrots,
5 radishes, 2 turnips.
Why?
Because in the conference room, on the table free for all is roughly 20,000 calories
in the guise of every known Twinky type food.

It's kinda wierd but when I walk in the door I get hungry....instead of hitting the
conference room table for a candy snack I immediately get on a carrot.

There is the concept of negatively caloric foods....truthfully there aren't any but many
come close like any and all cruciferous veggies. That said, if I eat two carrots I'm satiated
enough I'm not tempted to down the other temptations.

Hehe I do the same but with apples. I don't really ever diet, but I do follow a general strategy of preemptively stopping cravings by starting with a good breakfast, keeping fibrous and/or high protein foods around and snacking on them before I get hungry, and drinking lots of water. When I stay on track with that I never care for trashy snacks, and by the time lunch and dinner come around I'm good with eating something light.

It's just tough during the holidays because eating is such social thing around this time of year.

Thanks. Those colors were already there though, The first shot was at 14mm, with the sun to the left. You can literally watch the yellow light of sunrise chase the pink light of dawn across the sky sometimes. Like a visual illustration of a warm front coming through.

Considering it is 5F outside that image is entirely enticing!

what a nice looking place

Agree. The original owner was an artist so the inside of the home is setup in 3 levels with an art gallery feel to it. Pretty unique home.

Off topic completely but does anyone here collect alternative movie posters? I watched a documentary last night and now find myself with a new kind of GAS :-P (google Tyler stout for example)

Sorry for the late response. The top left part of the L bracket is enough to hold it fairly tight. There is flex if you try to move the camera while clamping down tho.. Do keep in mind that I tested it with the Batis 85mm only, and indoor without any strong wind. It, of course. is not as solid/tight as our previous L brackets as there is not as much area on that part of bracket for clamp to hold on to.

Headed down to the beach yesterday (A new year's day tradition now).

Same image. Tried a different look in the first one. Softer...Which do you prefer?

I prefer you just pick what you like and post that. I typically like landscapes that have more clarity and contrast (not soft), but that's just me.
