Fair enough :)

I feel sometimes like my processing style is a bit in a rut when it comes to landscape, so been trying some new things. But I honestly have no clue whether these experiments are for the better or worse.

Another one from yesterday. Sigma Art 35.

Sorry for the late response. The top left part of the L bracket is enough to hold it fairly tight. There is flex if you try to move the camera while clamping down tho.. Do keep in mind that I tested it with the Batis 85mm only, and indoor without any strong wind. It, of course. is not as solid/tight as our previous L brackets as there is not as much area on that part of bracket for clamp to hold on to.

Thanks for responding Anh. I've been happy with my cheap "L" bracket on my a7rII and hope I'm just as happy with this one. I only use portrait mode on my tripod indoors for portraits or still life so the firmness of grip in that orientation hasn't been a problem. I ordered this bracket once but delivery was delayed, so I canceled. If a better alternative doesn't show up soon, I'll go ahead and try to order it again.

My L Bracket came in a few days ago. For $25, I have no complain. I would said it's not 100% fitted, but 95%. Is it as good as RRS? No. But at 1/10 of the price, I am ok with it.

I would say trust your judgment on which edit you think looks best to post. You are the only one the photo needs to please anyway. That way, you'll also know the images you post are your style, not what a committee of other photographers choose.

How was the burn? Certainly looked more dramatic from where I was at. Aiming a local shot tomorrow, low tide sunset, hoping sunset is well behaved

First bierd of 2018....hard to get motivated when it was 3F this morning when I left
the hospital.
Many of you FF'ers will never know the joy of Sony's 1 inch sensor but if you are ever near
the 10iv give it a go. Really nice to have this kind of reach in the hand-

Since we were talking about social media sites not too long ago... Just thought that I'd share that I deactivated my Facebook and its actually pretty refreshing. I don't miss it. The constant urge to check it is gone. The social pressure of updating, commenting, caring what other people are doing is gone, or scrutinizing posts or worrying about my own posts being scrutinized is all gone.

Messenger works even if you deactivate the main page which is cool because that's basically my personal email, and I have a couple group chats I'm actively in.

I still my instagram... More for my photography business but I like it better as a social networking service as the culture of the users is different. It's more centered towards sharing positive experiences through photos, which is akin to the Facebook of old.

It wasn't that interesting, really. I'd go out again today, but I've apparently come down with a cold. So I'll be staying home.

Headed down to the beach yesterday (A new year's day tradition now).

Same image. Tried a different look in the first one. Softer...Which do you prefer?

I agree with David, I also prefer contrastier images for lanscapes, especialli if it involves water. I find the NIK Color Efex Tonal Contrast filter perfect for that.
