Looks like a '63 Sprint with a 260 cu. in. V8. I use to own a white one.

I used to see a lot of Falcons in '63 but never this color. It seems the name was retired as there are no modern Falcons.

It may be an original color called Rangoon Red. -?

Here is a closer view of the Front end and the V8 260 emblem. To those who don't know, tapping on the eyeglasses on the top right of the picture will get you slightly closer.

Australia was building them until a year or so ago... see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Falcon_(Australia (external link))
sadly all car manufacturing in Australia has now ceased.

While parts of the country are being lashed with a dreadful summer storm, causing flooding, road wash outs, and other damage: we've been relatively damage free here. Very windy when I walked the dog though ...

Never knew that, thanks for sharing. Wow there is no auto manufacturing in Australia at all.

Yes - interesting as I didn't notice them that much when walking, which is unusual as I look at the sky a lot. Bit of a bonus to see them when processing :-)

A wander along Marine Parade and the aquarium in Napier. Hadn't noticed these murals before, but haven't been along here for a while. Googled, it seems that this and other murals were done 2016 and 2017, which is why I hadn't seen these particular ones.

And the artist:

And this is part of the artists story - I feel ashamed for the people in my country who do this sort of thing!

Nice to get some decent weather on a day off ... lovely long walk at Ocean Beach today with a friend, and dogs frisking in the waves.

And a view of Ocean Beach. How lucky am I to live 20 minutes from a place like this and be able to walk for an hour and a half with sand, sea and sky around me.

Nice. It's about impossible to get a shot with no one hovering over a nice car.
