I love this shot!

Ironic that I've been struggling to get a clean shot of a cardinal for two years here in FL, but can walk outside right now and shoot a blue heron, an ibis, an egret, a cormorant and maybe even a wood stork if I'm lucky.

We always want what is scarce! :)

I just picked up the FE 90 Macro. I was wondering if any of you have invested in an aftermarket tripod collar for this lens? Is it fine just mounting the camera on the tripod as far as stability/useability.

Just another day across the street at Chapman pond, where the scenery never gets old.

i can't wait to test the laowa 15F2 today. I called UPS to hold it on location so i can just pick it up. I have some errands later and I hate to miss it because it needs signature.

The FE 90 is one of my favorite lenses. I've encountered no problems mounting this lens on my a7rII or III on a tripod. I do keep an "L" bracket on the camera always for quick on and off the tripod. Here's a shot with my camera/FE 90 mounted to my focus rail with my "L" bracket attached as well as another straight rail holding the flex arm for the flash.

Incredible Gene! Just over the top beautiful.
Do you have a feeder? Specific plants?

Robert, I use a feeder and make my own syrup of 4 parts water and one part sugar. I boil the water to sterilize it before I add the sugar. I don't have any plant to attract hummers at the moment but usually have some red sage (salvia) planted nearby.

Pardon this shot featuring my griddle but it does show where I usually hang my feeder, the bush where I shot the hummer and even the red sage on the left. I was standing in the sliding glass doorway connecting my patio to the den when I took this shot.

Welcome to Adorama's VIP360 Packaging. Yap that's it. Just on one side. Thanks Adorama.

Edit: Good thing though the packaging of Laowa really means business. :)

Very interested to see what you think of the Laowa, I've been mulling over getting one to use with filters for a trip I'm planing for this summer.
