Desert I hope this isn't all the winter we get for this year. We've been having temps in the mid- and upper-70s.

Debbie.. I feel ya..
Last year we hit the mid-nineties in February and it looks like it could be the same this year.

At least we had some rain here on Tuesday

If I am not mistaken, the Hobbit Village was in New Zealand; now a tourist attraction.

Thanks. I wasn't aware it was a tourist attraction. That would be a fun place to visit.

Oh man! I just love this, Joeseph.
It's so cool they kept Hobbiton alive!

EDIT: And thank you, everybody, for the kind comments and/or likes!

I finally bought me some lights. Well, just one. A speedlight, the Godox TT600. And I'm loving it. I've been playing with it for three days now. Lots to learn but having a lot of fun just trying out things. Here are two examples of that.

Thanks, Jo! The flash is wonderful. It's a pretty basic flash, all manual. I did buy the latest Godox trigger, the Xpro. It was a bit expensive but it's an amazing little thingy, it works so well with the flash and if I were to get more lights, this one trigger will rule them all. So with the Xpro trigger I'm future ready because although I have much to learn, one thing I already learned and that is that one light is not enough! :p
