I washed and scrubbed it real well before the photo session. But, you are right, very low miles on it.

Nice drill, Sibil! Love the red.

And, John, I want me one of those! We have dunes here too and I would love to race through them in that buggy.
The second shot made me laugh out loud. What a fun shot that is. Cool.

Thanks, Jo! The flash is wonderful. It's a pretty basic flash, all manual. I did buy the latest Godox trigger, the Xpro. It was a bit expensive but it's an amazing little thingy, it works so well with the flash and if I were to get more lights, this one trigger will rule them all. So with the Xpro trigger I'm future ready because although I have much to learn, one thing I already learned and that is that one light is not enough! :p

Love the shots! I've been closely following your other thread describing your adventures with acquiring the lights :-) (since that's a path I'm looking to follow in the near future). A lot to learn, but the results look well worth it!

CC always welcome.

Thanks, Rhody!
I'm so happy my thread helped you too. There's some great info and advice from some wonderful, trustworthy people in that thread.

That's the truth!!

Yeah, and the good thing is that if I were to buy another Godox TT600, it's 99 euro. Even I can afford that! :-P

Nice dandelions, Jo!
I especially like #1 and #3.

And they need water, so here is some. :-P

A local landmark diner/cafe. Opened in 1942 and apparently not much has changed.

How interesting

Thanks Sibil - was a really nice day to spend there

OldCrow wrote in post #18539238 (external link)
Screenshot from the Hobbit perhaps?

could be, could be.... ;-)a

Sibil wrote in post #18539241 (external link)
If I am not mistaken, the Hobbit Village was in New Zealand; now a tourist attraction.

Exactly!

OldCrow wrote in post #18539248 (external link)
Thanks. I wasn't aware it was a tourist attraction. That would be a fun place to visit.

If you ever get the chance to visit, it's well worth doing!

Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #18539282 (external link)
Oh man! I just love this, Joeseph.
It's so cool they kept Hobbiton alive!

Thanks Levina, we all enjoyed our visit - it's run very well I might add, lots of tour groups & very well organized too.

joayne wrote in post #18539394 (external link)
Is that Hobbitville, joeseph?

I visited when I was in NZ.. Fantastic place and so much fun!

*edit.. I hadn't read all the comments yet, before I posted! :p

Spot on...
I often think that the north island isn't as nice as the south island for folks visiting from overseas, but still a lot to see!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)
