Phil, great shots as usual. What lighting are you using? Our school just installed LED lighting. A week ago I shot basketball and noticed the skin tones were correct right out of the camera. There was also no cycling of the lights so every shot was the same.

This was a special game held at the Wichita State University arena. Every year a series of games is held there over 3 days between teams of the Greater Wichita Athletic League and the league which represents the suburban schools. Wichita State has upgraded its lighting for television as the team has gained national prominence. There were two light bars installed (one on each side of the court) and while the quantity of light is much brighter, there are still quite a few shadows. The light formerly was strongly directional from the top down and this was improved.

The light fall off was exceptional. The spectra of the lights were also much better. The light fixtures appeared to be LED.
