Common Magpie look rather exotic with the sun striking iridescence off its feathers.

Red-Winged Blackbirds are regular visitors to my feeders (mostly females, though.) Of late, my backyard has fed ravening hordes of female RWBBs...up to 30 or 40 at a time. I'm looking forward to seeing the males show up in the near future.
Here are a couple of shots of one female that was kind enough to stick around and pose for me this grey morning.

It is a super shot Peter from a day when we both ran around with the 7D... We may have had more fun back then. We are so caught up in details and noiseless images now. Or maybe that just me..
