Spent some time in St. Augustine over the weekend. Most taken with the 16-35 f/4 for my trial run.

Great shots of one of my favorite cities Daniel. Glad you're enjoying your new lens. About once a year we visit the Alligator Farm and may head by in a couple of weeks depending
on weather.

My last minute a9 sale cancellation has given me thought of another gear plan: hold on to what I have now for the rest of the year (with one exception) and then early next year sell my a7R II and buy a excellent condition used or new a7R III. And also I want a Sony Planar T* FE 50mm F1.4 ZA.

The notion of owning two cameras (a7R II for landscapes and a9 for street/walk around stuff highly appeals to me, but owning an a7R II & III would be ridiculous. Since the a7R III truly is the do-it-all camera I can go with just the one camera. Maybe later I can fulfill my dream by adding an a9 II! :)

The one move I think I’ll make soon is to cross-grade my FE 55mm to a Loxia 50mm. It’s purely a pragmatic move: the small form factor of the Loxias are a perfect fit in my landscape bag. Also the color and rendering are a more consistent match to the other Loxias. I do love the FE 55, so I could change my mind. :p Eventually, as a scratch-all-my-itches strategy I hope to double up at 50 & 85mm as I have at 35mm: Loxia + fast AF lens.

Sharing this in case you needed more options

Eddie (and anyone else who’s done it): how do you create a second Flickr account? Do you need to create a new Yahoo account?

Thanks. My wife was with me and she hates alligators and birds, so I didn’t hit any of the wildlife areas. May be worth a visit sometime when I’m around again.

for the FE35 F/1.4 owners,... in amazon if you click the 1 star reviews, most folks complain to de-centered focus problem. some went through 3 to 4 copies before they got a good one. what's you experience with this problem? i'm ready to pull a trigger for another copy of the lens. mine got collateral damage when i funded my R3.

Candles from Lourdes Grotto and Our Lady of Guadalupe “Tepeyac de San Antonio”. The Grotto is the most perfect replica in America of the original Shrine in Lourdes, France. I'll post images of the Grotto soon.

I also found this cool mural at the Lourdes Grotto. Challenging scene to capture because the mural was backlit. Please excuse the slight HDR look.

Yes but do it from Flickr. Click log out then click sign up. When it asks for your email address tick the option to create a new yahoo account and go from there
