Yes but do it from Flickr. Click log out then click sign up. When it asks for your email address tick the option to create a new yahoo account and go from there

Perfect...thanks for the tip!

Really looking forward to getting this started later today.

Very nice images inside the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. You were in my neck of the woods!

You may already do this but I’ve just started using the publish function within Lightroom for uploading to my new Flickr accounts. You just drag and drop the images you want uploaded to the relavent publish action and click publish and it auto uploads. I’m also now using the mogrify Lightroom export plugin so the image is resized, black bars added, watermark added etc upon upload. I find this to be a quicker way to get the images up. For my landscapes on my main account I don’t do this though, I prefer to have more control on final sharpening that I do in photoshop so I just upload those to Flickr manually like I always have. This also allows me to add to select groups upon import.

Thought I would mention this in case you find it useful

Thank you. I'm actually from Chico and was hired as a second shooter with a photog friend from Roseville.

Ah, that's cool! I'd love to shoot a wedding there. So far, I've attended 2 weddings and a Christening in the Cathedral. I have family in Chico and have shot Chico State graduates back in 2012. I'm in Stockton

Tested my 24-70 this morning and the good news is it’s fine. Well centered (24 end slightly better that 70mm end) and sharp across the frame from wide open. 70mm looks amazing in terms of sharpness.

for the FE35 F/1.4 owners,... in amazon if you click the 1 star reviews, most folks complain to de-centered focus problem. some went through 3 to 4 copies before they got a good one. what's you experience with this problem? i'm ready to pull a trigger for another copy of the lens. mine got collateral damage when i funded my R3.

I've had two copies and have never found issue with either. That said, I never tested those two lenses either. For something that will be used for landscapes I can understand why people would measure a lens so critically.... But not a fast prime meant to be shot primarily wide open. Fast wide angle primes are generally weak in the corners anyway.

And when the corners are all good and out of focus...who cares! I can't wait to get one to keep...

Totally agree but I still test all my lenses with a quick centering test. If it’s badly decentered I don’t keep it regardless if the corners will not be required. For landscape use lenses I also check centre, mid and corner crops at infinity distance at each aperture. I’ve created a photoshop action for this so it’s quick once I’ve taken the photos. This is how I quickly realised my 16-35 was a lemon

agree. i'm using it primarily for people anyway. maybe if it's really bad i will play with lottery games but if it's hardly noticeable I will keep it.
