That very well could have been my 50mm now that you mention it. Doesn't look quite wide enough to be 35mm.
Though it's hard to tell with the background blacked out. The 35 distorts, 50 does not.

Edit - I've changed my mind. That's def 35mm, and the camera is full frame, btw!

Just because It's come up before, it's a Rebel Ti, or EOS 300v.

135L. Though on second thought it could also be my 85mm 1.8, lol.

Hello there. My first proper studio attempt at a self portrait. Key light is a large soft box at 45 degree to camera left, using Godox TC 200 flash, hair light is a snoot from behind above the head with a grid. Taken with canon 70d, Sigma 17-50 f/2.8. The aim was to create a dramatic, eye catching portrair. Let me know what you think

Snatched shot on a mobile phone, my DSLR would have dealt with those highlights, in so much that an optical viewfinder would have shown what the background was, rather than squinting at the phone and hoping for the best.......

Hype chimping - The act of looking at your screen after every shot, then wildly behaving like it's the best picture in the world, to try and impress other photographers around you.
