Last Saturday I was painting live at a wedding in a beautiful location called The Room on Main (external link)
The first image is a pno of 2 horizontal shots.
The second one shows work in progress at the end of the wedding. (90% done. I touched it up at home the next day and it's finished now.

I managed to shoot the cakes but the rest was shot with the "brick", so no posting here.
And the finished painting. Oil on Belgian linen 24x36x3" or roughly 60x90x5cm.

Walking about he found the sinking and tilting Millennium Tower. It's a luxury residential high-rise that home to the likes of Joe Montana. Since it was built in 2008 it has sunk 17 inches and tilted 14 inches.

Looking up Nifty wasn't certain, but he thought he could see the tilt. :p

US Nifty was dragged to another live wedding painting at a beautiful location in Keller TX called The Bowden (external link)
The sweet couple wanted me to paint the ceremony in acrylics.
I managed to shoot the facility and stitched a few panoramas.
It took 9 vertical shots to make the ballroom pano.
The second shot shows the entrance to the ballroom where the young couple displayed some pesronal things.

The chappel was stitched out of 4 vertical shots. I needed that for the background in my painting though I didn't use this particular set as my tablet can't handle too many RAW files opened in PS.
The second shot shows the reception where couples being married for 50+ were supposed to come forward and dance...well, there was just one couple. You can see the sweet newlywed standing and watching.

Her is my painting roughly blocked in and after some fine tuning.
The couple loved it!
Nifty will be visiting a very exciting place during the week, so stay tuned!

The engineers swear it won't fall over, but the lawyers are having a good time with the lawsuits. It's not a good idea to upset folks who can afford multi-million dollar condos. They tend to have good lawyers and use them when they get upset. :p

...and that doesn't even take into account that they live in a tall sinking and tilting building in a known earthquake zone!
