First of all let me say that each and every photo submitted is simply outstanding! I knew when I setup this challenge that judging would be difficult...and it was! I would like to make them all 1st Place Winners but the rules do not allow for that :-( So, after going back and forth I have made my decisions. Since all are outstanding photos I used my "eye appeal" judgement in selecting the winners.

OhLook's Butts wonderfully illustrates how a G-Series camera can achieve both Micro and shallow depth of field in a well composed shot!
M_Six's Bridges are just a breath taking example of landscape photography!
Stiga's beautiful landscape Jupiter Artland is near perfect marred only by the stray photographer on the left side!
tcphoto1's lovely Courthouse is a marvelous example capturing old architecture!
Logan7's Northern Lights are a wonderful example of a long exposure (20 seconds) to achieve stunning results!

So, I have ranked them as follows:

1st Place - M_Six
2nd Place - Stiga
3rd Place - Logan7

Over to you M_Six for this week's contest :-)

I'll admit that I haven't used the G15 much lately, here is my best from '17.

Congratulations to everyone who entered this week - all were good!

I did look through the few shots I took with my G15 in 2017 but unfortunately couldn't find any worth entering.

Wow, I thought I was safe for this round with so many other worthy entries. That shot was a hazy mess I managed to pull back into some semblance of usability. I thought sure it would go to OhLook's cool shot or Logan's Northern Lights.

Nice work, everyone. I'll get a new contest up shortly.

Logan, I thought you would get the top spot but there you go!

As a matter of interest what is your focusing set up and how did you get the stars so sharp? I have problems getting things sharp at infinity on my G5 X - especially with low light.

Love that Northern Lights shot!

Still lurking. Dad bequeathed on me a Nikon DSLR that I'm trying to figure out so the G1X is languishing at the moment. Should be back in the mix sometime this summer.
