How strict is the “should contain printed numbers “ rule? I’ve got an idea but it doesn’t involve print

yep, I've got electronic numbers in mind.... :-)

I would say as long as it is a number in any form, it would go with the theme. As long as there isn't a certain number of items in the composition the the viewer is left to count to get "a number". Hope that's clear as mud! Ha.

Well that’s my idea screwed then. I think I prefer when the theme is open to interpretation

Definitely not the shot I had planned. Weather and time management worked against me this week. I added my own personal challenge of choosing to only use a certain lens (Batis 18, in this case) for this weeks challenge.
Maybe we could add that to the challenge as well, for everyone.

Finally felt up to shooting for the challenge...been battling the flu all week...and it resulted in yet more neglect of these numbered items...

Here's my last minute entry. I had thought about finding a couple of tall palm trees that looked like Roman Numerals but wasn't able to work the time in.

I nearly did something like this with my bottle of JW blue...the cask number on the bottle...but didn't want to get out the lights and get all setup...too tired...

My Submission for this week .. "The Graphics Brothers"
This image shows the physical dimension of NVidia Graphics Chips. Left is the massive GTX 1080 chip and towards right its Tegra processors. These are imprinted on a ruler.

And now for my acceptance speech ...

Brother sony shooters, distinguished photographers, and your imperial majesty, Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler.
It brings a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat to think that all you sony shooters came here tonight just to pay honor to me.
I am humble. I asked myself, 'Am I worthy of this honor?' 'What made the judges pick me above all the rest? 'What do I have that stands out?' Whatever the reason, I am humble.

:-D (hope atleast one of you get it)

Anyway..
thanks for picking my photo..

the theme for this week .. will be "Cinematic" (because its the theme i'm always trying to achieve)
