I don't have a beautiful snowy owl like the one above this, but I do have an O.K. looking snowy egret! :)

I love the Snowy Egrets - we don't get them up here - and only rarely I'll see a Great Egret in my region during migration. Beautiful!

OMG! A tree creeper on the correct side of a tree! Will wonders never cease! :)
Now that's something that you don't see every day right there.
I have gotten sharp shots of these but they were so far it just didn't cut it. I have two in my backyard now, I can't seem to ever get a shot of them, even if I am in a hide.
Nice job on a NEMESIS bird! :)

Thanks, but it was on form by being in deep shade and moving all the time. :-)

I didn't realize they weren't up that far. I would feel bad for you but I know what other things you have up there that I would kill to see, just once.:lol::lol:
Thank you, svizzerams!

I'd take a kestrel wherever I can too. We used to have a nest near us but it ended up being abandoned after several years :-(

It was so gloomy this morning, I decided to experiment with an off-camera flash set to -3 stops. This cardinal's head was turned just enough that the flash didn't show in his eye.
