Nice bug! I rode in one of those years ago with a 2110 and dual webbers, tin can on wheels, scary/fun, shockingly seemed fast for what it was!

Haha yes it doesn't take much to get these bugs going quick :) I have a 2017cc with dual Weber 44 IDF in mine, plenty fast ..... until I can afford a fuel injected turbo for it that is :p Thanks!

That's gotta be fun, yeah I remember seeing a VW mag back in the day where they had the turbos sticking out or the hatch popped to make room for 'em.

The one I rode in would lift in the front under 1st gear acceleration. I think some do 9-12 second quarter mile times no problem!
