A very dull day brightened up with the sighting my favourite winter bird the Snowy Owl. The snow has all melted away so the fields are bare and the little critters are out. Hopefully it helps these juvenile owls survive the winter for the trip home to the Arctic.

I've been out trying to spot a couple reported in my area - but have been disappointed by extreme foggy conditions. Maybe this weekend. So in the meantime I'm enjoying seeing your lovely offering for those of us who are snowy owl deprived. Lovely shot.
