Hi all,

Nice shots. I've wanted to go to this and never made it out. How is access to the stages? Can you get up above the rock climbing areas and other good places without credentials? Thanks and maybe next year.

Hiya, the access to the stages is actually pretty good and you can even walk around the pit area without any kind of credentials or anything; as long as you don't bug the teams, they're all cool with it. there are some areas that you can get some photos, like at Backdoor and Chocolate Thunder, but you have to get there early and would miss out on the start of the race, which in itself is really cool. You can literally be 2 ft away from the rigs as the announcer says "Start your engines!"
Also, last year we skipped the race start and headed over to Chocolate Thunder and had a great spot, to then only be blocked by the camera crew from NBC. He was cool but it kind of sucked to have our view blocked.

There will many rigs from KOH on display at TDS. Register and go. Your not required to register but those funds generated will help keep open trails we use.

I'd like to go to that but from the Bay Area, it's quite a long haul. I'm probably going to go to Sierra Trek this year.

Pretty much a mad house, some fun wheeling. I live about 45 minutes away. Know many of the TDS members. BLM blocked off Devils Canyon and open only by permit. TDS twice a year gets permits to run.

Ultra4 is kind of tight about the drones, especially at KOH and after a stunt last summer at one of the races, I can only imagine how tight they are these days.

Great set. I watched it again from home this year, and it was worse that my team didn't even make the trip this year because of the flu. This should be the last year that I miss KOH though.

I wish, but like Black Mesa said, the organizers were very strict about drones since there were low flying helicopters flying around
