Awesome shot Eddie.

I just joined a new community called Vero. Nick Page and Greg Benz are on there. I like the platform because the images posted are higher resolution and you can view them in landscape mode on your phone. You can follow me at Alfredo Mora.

Edit: Also Vero doesn’t have an algorithm like IG and no ads.

Just got my new Voigtlander Nocton 40mm f/1.2. I was lucky to get a last copy in a local store.

Now exploring the possibilities of this lens :)

Not sure any of you guys ever used a Clik Elite bag before, but just found out that they’re closing up shop. They’ve been making less and less over the past years and I actually thought they had closed up before. I’ve used a few of their bags before and while they have their quirks like every other bag, they make a good product. Almost like MindShift Gear before MindShift Gear. Good bags for the adventure and hiking.

As such it seems like they’re clearing out a lot of product. One such bag that I just ordered is their Whisper bag. Looks like the LowePro Flipside Series, probably equivalent to the older 20L, and maybe the current 300 AW. Seems like regular price is $200 (B&H is selling for that). Amazon 3rd party retailer with prime shipping though has it for $82.

Rear access, looks to hold a body and maybe 3-5 other lenses. Has room in the front. And if it’s like other Clik Eite bags, it has a good harness and comfortable to carry.

Daniel I set the Riiii to 8fps to minimize the blackout and it is super tolerable compared to the Rii.
BUT if you have been using the a9 then it will seem quite muted....it's all relative. The speed of the Riii
over the Rii is akin to the speed of the a9 over the Riii. That should translate into the a9 being a super sonic
space craft and the Riii being the first jet engine air plane compared to the propeller driven Rii.

Im scared that I understood that which you said.;-)a

I’m probably going to have the exact same frustration with Vero as I do with IG: poor/no support for non-mobile devices (PC). Heck, I couldn’t even find the app for my iPad (phone only).

Going to keep an open mind though. :)

Shot 2015, re-processed with new technique. I thought about this shot because it's our 19 years wedding anniversary.

Looks like you were having fun.

I don't know what the original edit looked like but this one seems a bit cool with a touch too much cyan in the sky Vinz.

Here's my take on it for better or worse.

Yeah I don’t get why there isn’t a web version so you can upload and participate from your PC.

i know its not very popular due to its 5.6 T stop..
but i'm curious ..

IQ supposed to be great ,, bokeh the best

i'm keeping my sony kit small.. mostly for portraits..

Too specialized, it’s a headshot only lens. Once you work outside that capacity, it loses its bokeh. Want to keep a small kit, 50 f1.8/85 f1.8/135 f2.8 is a solid kit, pp the rest of the way

I spent the afternoon productively. I did think to bring along the A7r3 to play with, using the 28/2.

I had a couple of shirts done, leading up to being the official photog and a sponsor for a charity run at my kids school next weekend...and decided to shoot the stuff too, for the portfolio of the friend that is doing the design work. the 85 GM was not used...but it makes an appearance...:-D

The 85GM is still better in bokeh imo. I tested it through the Sony Pro Support free loaner.
