i dont really use my camera with my old canon lenses but i think it would depend on the lens design - there are apsc lenses that would provide more image on an FF than others but they can also show a lot of IQ issues like distortion etc if you want to shoot at FF. If you switch your camera to S35 mode though it should look the same as when mounted on a canon crop camera.

AF you really need to test or check youtube if someone already tested it out. i know the 10-22 for example works ok on the SONYS

please note though that if you plan to buy an a7r2 and use crop mode youll end up with an 18mp photo - if you plan on only using crop mode it might be better to get an a6500 but if you are after the flexibility then i understand your position as I just recently got a 55-210 to use on the R3

I just got my hands on a Sigma adapter but I haven't tried using it with crop Canon lenses. I'll give it a shot this weekend when I have a chance to dig up my old crop Canon kit (60D). I can say that I have used it with Canon full frame lenses without issue (have a Canon 70-200 F4 in my bag right now from my Canon setup).
