I finally got to make a short field trip this morning and was rewarded with a Great Gray Owl. They are always thrilling to see.

Thank you, Bob and Joe, for commenting; I appreciate it. It's always a treat to see a Great Gray. They are our largest owl in size, though not in weight. They never fail to impress.
