Great shot. Sports shots work best when you can get a decent pose and a decent face and you nailed both.

Just saw these posts...

I used the 7D2 with a 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens... This is the best combination I have ever used for various sports and action photography... I will occasionally use a monopod but, most times just hand-hold because of the wonderful IS capability of this lens...

Of course, the original 7D and 300mm f/4L IS lens was no slouch as a combination...
