Decided to cut out of my office early today to hike a bit for my birthday, and never could have expected to come across one of my all-time bucket list animals – a snowy owl! Having recently moved from Florida to New England, and then being out of town for nearly 3 winter months in a row, I haven't had an opportunity this year to go out and see these guys yet. I knew they were around the area all winter, but seeing one in person was absolutely incredible. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift!

IMHO, If you clone out that house and maybe a little tighter crop this one is a wall hanger.

Doesn't seem to have been any sudden (large) shifts in the USD to GBP or JPY exchange rates, so that doesn't look to be the cause.

I had both for a while but got rid of the 5D4 and kept the 1DX2, I like the files much more.

I wish Canon made a smaller 1DXII instead of the 5DIV. Anyone else struggle with the 1DX2 for traveling? Tips?

The price of glass has gone through the roof too.
For example, 100-400 was £1799 now it's £2049.

I've never noticed it. It fits perfectly, even with the Otus 55 while traveling. I usually have it with a Op-Tech sling over my shoulder and sitting in the small of my back. If anything, I wish it was a hair wider. Then again, my usual previous travel camera was a Hasselblad 203FE/50CFe and CFV50 back.

Here in the US (I'm in Los Angeles) the price has been steady. But now it's being sold with a $300 rebate = $5699.

Hmmm looking in to that https://store.digitalrev.com/ (external link) online store they are based in Hong Kong -? . Sorry but, yes it maybe a lot cheaper but that is a huge gamble for me spending £3000-£5000. I want to stick to a UK based place only for that kind of money, Thanks anyway i shale wait :-(
