Mar 03, 2018 11:10 | #12872 xpfloyd wrote in post #18576538 I tried keto this year for the first time. Lost 14 pounds between jan 2nd and Feb 2nd. Came of it in Feb though but planning on going back to it from tomorrow. Takes a 3-4 days to get into ketosis but once there it’s easy to eat in a deficit as the hunger and cravings just disappear. I use myfitnesspal app and a Fitbit. Daily macros is 75% fat, 20% protein, 5% carbs. If you are still of the old (wrong) mindset that dietary fat causes heart disease and cholesterol you should do a bit of reading up on all the new clinical studies showing that it’s simply untrue. Refined carbs are what will kill you, sugar especially. Edit - good starting point for those interested - https://mobile.nytimes.com …https://www.google.co.uk/ My fitness pal app is awesome. You'd probably gawk at my carb intake though lol. They're mostly unrefined carbs, but I load up bananas and oatmeal before and after my workouts. focalpointsphoto.com

Isle of Man is amazing. I’m considering a trip to Thailand next year as our second big overseas trip. A few years ago we went to Maui which was great. I should be in northern Georgia at the end of summer and Fayetteville AR in May. Also going to the Great Wolf Lodge near Dallas for Christmas. Still want to visit Vancouver, PAC Northwest, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Chicago (for architecture), and Idaho to name a few. Very interested in your trip to Thailand. Land of the cobra, even in downtown Bangkok!!! I think if I ever went I'd have to pay for a snake tour! flickr

They're mostly unrefined carbs, but I load up bananas and oatmeal before and after my workouts. But that app is so easy to use and it's helped me stay on top of things. I'm mostly concerned with calories in and out, but when dieting while exercising strenuously you end end up eating clean innately because it's hard to maintain a calorie defecit with nutritionally empty foods and still perform well. Yeah there isn’t a definitive answer, you just have to do what works best for you. If I was still weight training I wouldn’t be doing keto and would be increasing my carbs Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I’m not technical with this stuff but I believe it’s a sensor limitation since the riii got the rii sensor whereas the a9 and 7iii are both new sensors mystik610 wrote in post #18576617 Unless you need the resolution, the A7III really is the better camera. About 2 hours ago I was set on an a9, now I’m wondering about the 7iii as a second body lol Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Per Gordon Lang, a7 III does have a few build quality inferiorities (compared to a7R III). And that we can easily deduce ourselves just considering shutter mechanism life expectancies. Also the a7R III has the better EVF, while a7 III has the older unimproved EVF. David | Flickr

Mar 03, 2018 11:34 | #12881 With the overlaps in specs, they're certainly not making it easy to choose between A7iii/Riii & A9.

Blackout free shooting. 20fps is a bit ridiculous...but for dance it might actually be useful in getting those perfect poses with perfect facial expressions. For things in motion, a lot can happen between frames at 20fps. I completely forgot the rolling shutter thing. This would actually be a big deal for dance like you said...
