Hi all,

Here's some glow-in-the-dark muchrooms that I found in the subtropical rainforest at Springbrook National Park in Queensland earlier in the week. The first was taken using torchlight, and the rest are in darkness. These were very easily visible to the naked eye, glowing a beautiful green!

Cheers,
Stephen

Wow. I did not know they existed. A listing in wikipedia says there are 80 known species... Thanks.

Those are very cool! I'd love to see if the shadows could be raised to see the tree roots.

Stephen, You have some of the most beautiful, and unique photos I have ever seen. I am pretty sure that if you took your portfolio to National Geographic
they would hire you in a second. Just saying. Your photos are amazing.bw!
