Hi Kim.
I am planning to move on from my Canon 60D to the Fuji universe.
I have been loosing so many good photography fun the last years. Travelling on holidays mostly using budget flight companies makes lugging a big photo gear a struggle, let alone the eternal wife complains, hehe.
For this reason, I am focusing my game on the X-T20 to start with, and maybe moving later to the X-T3.
My question is: how far this picture is from the SOOC version? I feel comfortable with LR, I never shoot JPG with Canon, as I am never happy with the 60D SOOC results.
As far as I can see from my initial research, JPG in the Fuji universe are in another IQ league, so I would like to keep it simple now.
SOOC JPEGs from the Fuji are way above the rest as far as I'm concerned, You can tailor the settings for shadow and highlights etc... and see the results in the viewfinder before you shoot - that it awesome.
As far as my shot it’s far removed from the settings I have in the camera, I set them flat for JPEG as I normally tweek the raws anyway unlessI know I'm going to deliver JPEGs for speed or whatever, then I dial in the settings just before the shoot so the mood is right for the time, if you know what I mean.
