I loved using the 85 GM last year from Carlo (mystik610) for my niece's graduation shoot. Beautiful lens. Congrats Randall.

Haha! I loved it. Not sure how Elia kept a straight face during the editing.

so i told the Boss i'd take her to see "Red sparrow" Tuesday (tomorrow) .. this promise was made a week ago .. she's excited...

But my 85 GM got held up i suppose due to the fact that i ordered day before a jewish holiday i didn't know existed.. and possibly weather (we had strong storms that left many areas without power).. normally i get things at most 2 days from ordering .. its been more than that .. but like i said cirmcumstances delayed shipment/delivery ( i assume that's the reason)

in cany Case its supposed to arrive tomorrow .. Tuesday..

odds are .. ill be at the movies .. in which case they'll leave it at the closest ups pick up location.. but from past experience they don't get it till late and don't log it in (so they cant give it out ) till the next day .. but they don't open till about noon:-(

 why is life so difficult..

The struggle is real!

Sorry to reply to something so many pages back. This thread moves so fast. I just started a new job running my wife’s office. I have spent the first few days learning in greater detail how busy she has been. Hopefully this goes as well as I hope and I’m able to satisfy my GAS more easily.

Hitting the wife up with my last chance at getting a pre order A7mkiii tonight.

I went to an evening with Sony a couple of weeks ago, just about the menu's and what does what etc. A week later I get an email from them offering a 10% discount from my next camera purchase before the 15th March.

I've been in touch and it looks like I can use it on the mkiii pre order.

They are also throwing in a free second battery with pre orders too.

Now the good bit. If I sell my Phantom 3 standard drone and my a6000 and can get $1100NZ combined and sell my a7mkii and get $1500NZ, with the discount I will only be $550NZ short of the mkiii. Still got a couple of lenses I can try and offload too to take up a bit more slack, or throw in with the mkii and try and push up the price a couple of hundred.

Thats the best I can come up with hahahahah.

Lets see what happens when she gets home lol

You are a wheeler and dealer :)
My first thought was loose a drone for a camera body, then remembered my Phantom fly-away never to be seen again. So
I lost a drone but no camera body!
Lost a GoPro as well :(
Gaab that is a huge step up from the a6000.
