Gene. Square nest.
I have 8 nesting boxes out back. They are square.
I was 'cleaning' the boxes from last year yesterday getting
ready for what might come.
Also relocated the hawk tower....that's a chore. Moved some Bluebird
houses, moved the bee hive....all in an hour :) then walked three miles.

You've been a busy boy! :-) Thanks too for the details on the square nest.

My desktop also has 32gb of ram and generally handles large files well. Dealing with video, especially 4K, can be a chore at times.

I set down my RX10 IV for a moment and picked up my A7r2 and snapped a few location photos for Sydney! I was playing with harsh sunlight using off camera flash with a softbox for fun!

Multiple shots pixel shifted at different depths then stacked in Zerene Stacker. Sony
Pixel shift does work with flash, flashing at each of the 4 captures for each file. The individual TIFFs
were 241mb in size. Here is the Flickr link where you can click in the middle of the image for a larger
view/shame downsizing this one to 1280 (do we still have to do that?) for the forum :(

Left me guessing again. [also on your next image I'd guess they might be refillable printer inks?]
Are these Owl's eggs - I don't know what Owl feathers look like - never seen any

Robert,
hate to hear about the Phantom fly away. In my quick grab camera bag, I always have my Mavic Pro and the a6500 with a wide angle and a zoom. You never know when you might want that aerial.

You are a wheeler and dealer :)

Gaab that is a huge step up from the a6000.

haha, yes. Have to offload some stuff to get this one past her :P I brought the a6000 back when I had my Canon 6D to see if I liked the Sony system. I think I brought the A7mkii about a month later and sold the 6D. I've hardly touched the a6000 since. I've used it for timelapse when I have been shooting with mkii, but other than that it sits at home. May as well cash it in while I can and upgrade the A7 too :)

I like the color (usually do). In this case the color one is almost b&w already, so I like that cheery bright green on the plant. Also like the slate blue gray created by the rain drops on the window pane.

These are just two snapshots but I took them to document the amount of snow we got last week as its the most I have ever seen here. Eventually ended up 2-3 feet deep in places

Yes that one bit of green adds some contrast to the otherwise gloomy pic ..

BMW 335D M sport Touring. Only had it two weeks (bought used)

Our country can’t handle weather like that. 48 hours in and there was a bread shortage :-)
