My Friend is getting married and thinking of using this company. The lighting all seems overexposed with overuse of shallow depth of field, where I would use more depth of field. Ideas and comments are welcome..

Does it matter what people on the internet think? If your friend likes their style they should pick them. If not then don't. You are forcing your personal taste on your friend.

The young lady in the picture is pretty stunning. That's all I could focus on, sorry.

Benji is quite right. I'm not crazy about the light, sort of filmy look, but.........it's not my wedding.

If your friend likes her work, then there is nothing else to be said. Be happy for your friend.

Hard do say if the web page is their 'typical photo' appearance. Certainly the ones on the web page are

  • lacking in contrast
  • lacking on color saturation
  • appear to be suffering from lens flare

But then if you put your cursor on a photo it turns normal in appearance. I guess this is some stylistic attempt to focus your eyes on one photo, while giving a 'romatic dreamy' appearance to the website. <gagging a bit>

How about you let your friend pick who they want to pick FOR THEIR WEDDING.
