Very nice sparrow btw. Just out of curiosity how close were you to get the entire bird in focus?

Ya nice days are ahead I hope lol. I would say I was somewhere between 8 and 10 feet.. Max 12 I would say. I don't hide 99% of the time I just walk around and stand for a minute. all hand held of course.
