When I was shooting a crop camera, this was my favorite travel lens. I had a 60D, the 15-85 and a 70-300L. I was content....until I started down the wrong path.... taking bird photographs. ;)

All kidding aside, I love the wide end of the 15-85.... that extra 3mm came in handy on many occasions. The long end was long enough for every day use.... but I always had the 70-300L in the bag. It's a great travel lens in its own right. It packs easily and mine is as sharp as my 100-400ii.

Anyway, good luck with the sale.... We had two of them, both purchased used and we paid substantially more. My wife still uses hers a lot.

Thanks, it is a great little lense... sharp, nice and compact for ease of carrying around with you. I bought it after I took my 24-70 mark 2 on a trip to disney. That particular lens was a bit big and heavy for carrying around all day long (for me). The 15-85 was a great option to go with... until I wound up with a 24-105 as part of a package deal when I bought my 5D3... now too much lens overlap, need to sell a few lenses. Especially considering I haven't been shooting all that much lately.
