lol... I'm having fun :P
Yes I sold the 200L. It wasn't really for funding the Sony. If I stay canon I'll just get the 70-200mk2 and 400 2.8 IS II combo. Tired of not having enough reach.

MalVeauX "Looks rough and well used" More info | Mar 13, 2018 08:29 | #18 Talley wrote in post #18584323 Not trying to sell anyone nor myself on the sony switch. I still fell this will be a costly stupid decision. Especially when Canon finally does get off their horse and make a FF mirrorless body. Mal, Your definitely a good candidate for a fuji system. Light weight and your more apt for manual settings and "want" to be in control of the camera. The fuji was an upgrade from the canon aps-c for you for sure. I still think the Fuji is the travelers best friend. Cannot get any better quality for lighter. Charlie has the best wording really for me... it's about building "one" system. You can have the good 2.8 stuff... the good 1.4 stuff... then can also get some good lightweight smaller primes and F4 zooms. Sure you can do that with the Canon... but you don't get the features. The Sony is not really saving you much weight but your not giving up anything on the output side. The point was just to say go for it. Make the switch. Something is calling you to something different. You're either not satisfied with the Canon setup, and it happens to be Canon's top shelf equipment, so you're looking elsewhere. That says a lot if you put it into perspective. I don't think the glass is the issue. But clearly the body is pulling you over and now you're considering letting go of the glass. Says a ton! So make the switch, enjoy some new equipment, and enjoy some photography.

For now I’ll wait for the A7iii and sigma adapter for my canon glass. Win, win !! you're an 85 shooter, dont ignore the FE 85, it's the definition of mirrorless done right. Nice small size with high end optics for a reasonable price. The lens is like sticky glue to the eyes, one of the more stronger focusing lenses. Shooting Nikon now. How it felt??? Depending on the reason why you are leaving? For me, Nikon has a better offering and cheaper to upgrade to a 16mp body with better ISO noise ratio. The 1dmarkIII is great but high ISO noise isn't its strength and it was only 10mp. And, while shooting Canon, I was convinced that only L lens matters. LOL LOL.. I sold all of my Canon gear for some good money and then spent far less money for the Nikon system. I believe my first Nikon lens was AF D lens. Cheap. It works on the today's Nikon bodies. The image quality is pretty good. I was shooting on a budget and trying to slowly build up my gear.....and earning some money first. While shooting Nikon, I was never pressured to buy the Nikon's greatest and latest. Instead, I consistently buy third party lenses. One Imaging Photography
