I did some exposure blending for this one. I could have probably gotten away with it as is, but it made the noise a non-issue in the foreground and hills.

LOL, it really is an amazing place, 10,500 acres of which probably less than 5 percent is actuallly used for treatment....almost half of it is actually active farmland, either grazing or crops.

It is also a RAMSAR listed site with over 280 species having been recorde there.

Good on Melbourne Water making access to it available to those interested on a permit system via key access to a number of gates around the perimeter.

If you are ever down this way let me know and I will take you around it.

Thanks, I'll take you up on that. :) Actually despite Kakadu NP being a Ramsar site, the Leanyer waste ponds up here are regularly visited by birdos to see rare migrants from Asia.
