Working on perfecting the "Bottle" lighting. Think I'm getting there.

Pull back from that last shot. 2 AD200 in the strip boxes. A V860II w/orange gel on the floor behind the stand, and the round shoot through over it, to lighten it up. Label was done with a hand held V860II snooted and grided.

Thanks for the pullback. It looks vaguely familiar too. I like the colored gel on the background on this shot.

Thank ya! Wasn't sure it was going to work on that multed-grey BG, but it came out looking a bit like fire. That played well with the "Spiced" Whiskey.

Help me more please.
'A V860II w/orange gel on the floor behind the stand, and the round shoot through over it,
Behind the stand? Is the 'stand' holding the bottle? That stand?
'round shoot through over it'. Through it or over it? I don't get it. But I want to understand.

I think you’ve got a thief in your midst - that bottle looks like it’s almost empty. ;)

Yeah, the flash is on a small table top tripod on the ground behind the stand of plastic drawers that my sheet of acrylic is on. Then I just leaned the round shoot through (just the diffusion portion of a 5-n-1) against the back of the drawers at an angle so the flash was shooting up through it.

Ok thanks, now I'm google 5-n-1.....so many new terms to learn.
But basically are you saying you shot the flash up through the bottom of the bottle?

I kept putting off editing this one until tonight. I guess I wasn't in the mood to edit it until now. Do you guys find yourselves in that situation too?

Nope. Just up onto the gray background. :)

Alredo I love everything but the handrail hitting my right in the eye, but don't know how you'd avoid the handrail unless you got in front of me. I
bet I'm the only one that doesn't like it.
Love that star though.....I've been mulling of the star lens for my future and I think it will be the Voigtlander 21mm e-mount.

Thank you MM for the feedback. Yeah I know what you mean about the rail. My reason for including it was it to serve as a leading line to lead your eye up to the church. Perhaps it's too much of a distraction? I can try a square crop to cut off the bottom.
