***PENDING***I have a like new 80D up for sale. I went ahead and bought a 5D IV and have other cameras I can use for backup so I'm listing this really nice 80D. I'll look around for software to give me shutter count but I know it is very low. This was my second camera to my 1DX II which I just sold. You'll see it in my feedback. Camera comes with two batteries, charger, strap, body cap and printed materials. Shipping is inn 80Dcluded within the conus.
Price is $695 check or money order. I stopped using Paypal a couple of years ago. If you have good feedback or we've done business before I will not hold up shipping for payment to clear.
Pictures to come.

I purchased the Shutter Count 3.3 and it doesn't work.
EOScount doesn't work either and to answer Superdivers question, yes, it does all that and more.

Camera: Canon 1D MK IIN, 7D IR, T4i astro modified, 5DSR, 1 DX II

EDIT:
This post is not true. EOSMSG does read shutter count on the 80D.

My understanding is that only Canon can get a shutter count for the 80D. I have a few different 'count' utilities. None of them work on my 80D. If you find something that works, post a name/link for the rest of us, please. Thanks.

My daughter is getting her Masters in May and I would like to get her a camera for graduation. I had not considered the 80D. She wants a camera that does good video ands a mic input, and she wasn't a screen that flips open. Its my understanding that this camera does all this, can you verify that? And possibly put us some pics and samples?

Does this mean that eoscount.com will not work on the 80D then? Have you ever tried it?

I just went to the site, and I have to say the 80D is NOT listed under bodies that will work..... sad to say....

Not free, $4 but supposedly ShutterCount v3.3 can get a "read" from the 80D. See http://www.direstudio.com/shuttercount/tech-specs/ (external link)

Mac only at the moment.

I have older versions of:
EOSINFO
EOSCOUNT
SHUTTERCOUNT

and none work. Updated EOSINFO, still doesn't work.

EDIT:
I just tried EOSMSG: http://www.****/ (external link)

It cost me $5.18, but it works. I got 5618 for my 80D, which I thought was low, maybe not. I shut down the camera, browser, and EOSMSG. Shot two frames, restarted camera again. Ran EOSMSG again and got 5620. It also got the camera SN, and lens right. It is clunky and weird, but it works, apparently. And you don't have to pay the $5.18 every time. POTN user MSOWSUM (?) has posted on another site that this works. I agree.

Just quoted to add this to the thread:

EOSMSG seems to work just fine, for $5.18.

Bassat, do you know why your link is showing as (at least for me) "http://www.****/" ???

I tried clicking on it, but came up with a strange web page that says: "This site can't be reached"

I then googled eosmsg and got a link to try but when I click on the link my Norton 360 virus protection is telling me to stay away from this website... that seems very strange to me I would get that message when it seems you and others are having no problem with the website.

Yes, the 80D shoots good video, has a mic input (I use a RODE VideoMicPro with mine) and the screen flips open. It sounds like she wants a vlogging camera. That's what I use mine for and it works great.

The only thing it doesnt do well is slow motion, but you'd have to look at a higher end model for that, like a 1DX MK2. It does also have a built in time lapse mode which works really well too!

I saw how it posted. No idea why. I got the error message from Norton, too. No idea why.

Site is www.**** (external link)
Program loads and works.

Not sure I'd trust it, either. Mike Sowsum (msowsum) posted that it worked for him. I trust him.

EDIT:
Just saw that POTN puts it up as an external (weird) link. It is:

"www" followed by "." followed by "eosmsg" followed by "." followed by "com"
